The growth charts you pediatrician uses may have been derived from the old charts the formula companies use. You can view here the charts for breastfeeding babies. The charts were based on 226 infants who were breastfed for at least 12 months with no solid foods before 4 months of age. The charts are in METRIC so to convert from pounds and inches, divide the weight of your baby by 2.205 to get kilograms and divide the length by .394 to get centimeters.
